We require a front cover design for a new printed publication of local business listings.

The publication will be hard copy printed in full colour on glossy paper like a glossy magazine. The publication page size is A5 (210mm x 148mm).

The publication name is Handy Little Book (handylittlebook.com) and this is requires to be boldly visible on the front cover. 

We require a logo to be designed, we are thinking along the lines of a cartoon type hand holding a small book, something simple and eye catching in design.

The overall look of the page needs to be YOUR DESIGN with our direction and input. A high impact page is required, we have toyed with yellow/black colours for a striking colour scheme but are open to suggestions.  The outer edge needs to be design to allow a possible print bleed of around 6mm.

The front cover needs to have a small area for us to modify fe each publication i.e. publication month, publication area etc. (a small blank area)

We will also like the front page to have a letterbox area available to allow us to place a paid advertisement (i.e. a blank area for us to fill)

We would also like a page turn effect on the bottom right corner to make it look like the page is starting to turn/curl. The area behind the curl will be for us to add our own text/graphics etc.

All artwork original need to be supplied to us. Additional ongoing work may be available for modification or additional page designs. All copyright and design rights will be ours on completion.

Our budget is around $100 but obviously we would like to keep it to a minimum.  Samples of your work will be required.
