I need an application developing which links in to a hosted SQL database, as well as a website.

The application needs to be able to add records, search records, delete records.

The records will be of contacts, including names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers etc. They will also be of products, with products ids, names, categories, pictures etc.

The application needs to be able to run locally, connected to a mail server, the SQL database, and needs to have the functionality to be able to add/remove/modify records which in turn should update the database and the website.

The application also needs to be able to allow the user to select contacts by specific categories and subcategories, select products by categories and subcategories, and then compose a mailshot, with the choice of html and plain text, with or without the pictures, and then allow the user to send the mailshot using the mail server.


I have the database already, which includes, the tables, the stored procedures, the views, the database triggers and the functions.

I also have a running copy of an existing piece of software which does exacly all of the above, but I do not have the VB source code.
