The project will be creating a seamless and functioning mash-up with open source project Etherpad (running on Java and Javascript )and open source platform Drupal (on php). We are looking for clean user experience that allows real time collaboration and chat via Etherpad inside of a Drupal content type. The information from the Etherpad session (both content and chat) will then be pushed into a searchable node so that the Drupal system can interact with it directly. The connection between the two will be built into a module and create as a feature within Drupal according the standards being worked out for features. The project will require strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Mysql, PHP, and experience with the Drupal CMS.

The project should be broken up into two different parts:
1. Creation of module that ties in closely with real time open source collaboration tool EtherPad.
2. Creation of Feature that allows close to plug and play ability within our specific Drupal architecture. 謫｢eatures specification can be found in the document at the bottom of this page.

We have requirements on the way in which these goals are to be accomplished, their workflow, and other specifics so please make sure you read through the entire project spec before you send a proposal.

1/3 Payment Will be issued at completion of Project Plan which will include specifics on what tools will be used to complete the task at hand. The Second 1/3 will be paid at completion of the module that ties in real time collaboration and the final third will be paid upon full delivery. If this does not work for you we can negotiate ☺.
