We're looking for a PHP coder who is familiar with Joomla 1.5 and has a good grasp of MVC module and component design.

What we need is the following:

Two Joomla articles are created, one is called "X user group" the other is called "Y User group".

A plugin must be created which can be configured like a "switch statement" in PHP.


If "X user group" article is accessed, then the plugin will collect user registration data for a Joomla user account and in addition it will display additional fields necessary to create a Redshop user account as well.


The article which the plugin is called from, will be configured in the backend to assign all user registrations resulting from access to the article (in this case the "X user group" article) to the "X shopper group" (shopper groups are defined inside of Redshop).

Conversely, If the "Y user group" article is accessed, then the plugin will collect user registration data for a Joomla user account and in addition it will display additional fields necessary to create a Redshop user account as well. The article which the plugin is called from, will be configured in the backend to assign all user registrations resulting from access to the article (in this case the "Y user group" article) to the "Y shopper group" (shopper groups are defined inside of Redshop).

The plugin must be configurable for at least 20 different "landing articles" which would be configured in the backend to correspond with a shopper group.

Here is a quick recap:

Visitor accesses article "X user group", this article contains a {redshop_registration} tag which calls up a form to collect user account registration data.

In the backend (plugin manager), the redshop registration plugin is configured to assign all user registrations resulting from access to article "X user group" to the "X shopper group" inside of Redshop.

Thus the articles are like instructions to the plugin to assign the users to a shopper group inside of redshop.

Redshop is a 100% MVC Joomla native component and has been developed to use the Joomla API.

Bear in mind that Redshop is GPL software and we do have the latest package files and plugins for it. Whomever is chosen to create this plugin will receive the software packages to use as reference.
