For this project we therefore require:

• A basic but clean logo design ‘starsign.fm’ that will suit the style
• A UI design based on our wireframes (use rounded corners for style).
• A basic but clean web app and database to complete the functions
• A basic but clean thumbnail image for each horoscope (12 in total)

We are building a simple web application in ruby on rails that will make calls to a small database of dates (approx 132 date ranges) that are grouped into 12 Chinese horoscopes. There will be 2 types of calls to the database – 1 making a search query by date, eg. 14 April 2000 and 1 making a search query by horoscope (not date specific), eg. pig – the search function should be able to find partial matches (regex) eg. 14 apr 2000. We plan to run the app on Heroku.

Avoid using images and instead use background colours. If you need to use images, say for a button, use a background image with text in front.
