I am looking for a talented and experienced Wordpress Designer + Developer (consultant or firm) to build a customized wedding blog.

Project duration: One month

Project will be completed in 3 phases:

1) Design Phase
a. Blog Design and Approval Process
i. Color palette and font approval
ii. Layout approval
iii. Custom graphics approval
b. Integrated Layout Approval – I will expect to see a layout with dummy content, with components graphically integrated for the purposes of design review before this phase is completed.
2) Development
a. Approval of component functionality
b. Approval of backend operability
c. Approval of all categories, tags, and pages
3) Testing and Project Approval
a. Testing for bugs and glitches
b. Support for the site for 30 days after launch, in case of any errors.

Payment will be in three parts: 33% upon completion of the Design Phase; 43% upon completion of Website Development; 23% upon Project Completion.

Project Scope:

The project will involve the upgrade of a current Wordpress site to a new theme. The project will include:

· The creation of customized graphics to be used on site. Expected custom graphics include, but should not be limited to banner, footer, background image, logo, secondary logo, customized picture borders (and watermarking), icons, and widget headers.
· All graphics should be provided after project completion in vector format for archival purposes.
· Multiple user log-in with community features like customized profiles, avatars, architecture for a forum, and extensive commenting features, e.g. Intense Debate
· Ability to add Adsense code, other banner ads as well as setup of Google analytics.
· Widgets typical of this industry, e.g. Most Popular Articles, Recent Comments, Tags, Blogroll, Categories, etc.
· Will require future space for advertisements.
· Embedding/adding video, as well as the architecture for a video page/gallery
· Will require archival/back-up functionality, along with a solution to provide for security, i.e. hacking, anti-spam, etc.
· Social Network Integration, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
· An initial launch in a test environment

Upon bid approval, I will provide:
· A wireframes for all pages, including brief conceptual documentation
· Domain name and hosting account.

Design should be clean and contemporary, consistent with the design of other popular wedding blogs (Style Me Pretty, 100 Layer Cake, etc.). The successful bidder will meet the following characteristics:
· Able to provide a schedule of work completion, along with milestones for input and approval.
· Native English speakers will only be considered.
· Readily accessible by phone, messenger and email 8AM-8PM (CST)
· Able to provide a strong portfolio in Wordpress Design/Development, that demonstrates the capability to produce industry leading design.
