We have a number of small inter related projects associated with a Ubercart pet supplies website we own & operate, www.petspantry.com & a number of WP pet related blogs.


The project involves two aspects:

Project 1

* Transferring 4 Word Press based website blogs we have purchased over the last 6 months to our Dreamhost account from various hosts. Experience with using Dreamhost preferred.


Tasks include transferring the domains & arranging hosting on our behalf with Dreamhost. These sites cover specific topics related to pets eg Dog Training, Pet Health, Pet Food & Accessories.


* Migrating the databases, optimising them, setting up & testing installation.


* Upgrading the sites to WP3.


* Suggesting design changes & carrying out customisation/renovation of them if appropriate. We envisage design changes would be minor & primarily cosmetic. Design suggestions & costings would need to be submitted, negotiated & agreed upon within the project budget. Examples of previous work would need to be sited before selection.


* Installing plugins.


* Installing additional plugins if considered appropriate.


* Integrating & interlinking all the sites to each other & back to our main website.


* Transferring Adsense, Clickbank & Amazon accounts across & testing.


* Reviewing 2 WP blogs we have already transferred across to Dreamhost. Carrying out appropriate activities, as per the above requirements to bring them up to an appropriate standard.

Project 2

* Coming up with an appropriate design & customisation for a Thesis themed blog which is linked to our main site. Design suggestions & costings would need to be submitted, negotiated & agreed upon within the project budget. Installing plugins if required. The design requirements for the blog would be more substantial & should tie in with our main site theme. Experience with Thesis desirable.

The project budget is indicative & we will consider other offers if they can be justified.

Additional Info (Added 11/8/2010 at 11:34 EST)... The goals of this project are primarily to generate & drive traffic from the six blogs to our main E-commerce site. Secondly to develop an attractive Thesis themed advisory blog on our main site which is well read & respected. Thirdly to generate & maximise income from affiliate activities & adsense imbedded in the six blogs.
