Who We Are:
We are a niche web 2.0/SaaS startup with a lot of personality that is trying to carve out a new vertical within a larger market space. We will explain our company in depth with the selected bidder, so that they can create the right logo.

The Project:
We are trying to create an engaging, online consumer brand that visually captures our unique value proposition in a very memorable, compelling way. We’re looking for a proven graphic designer, logo creator, corporate identity guru, etc. with proven experience (i.e. logos we can look at and evaluate) creating unique, memorable, compelling consumer brand logos. Although we’re flexible to some degree with the creation process, the successful bidder will place an emphasis on understanding who we are, what we do, and why we are different so that they can translate our brand into a compelling visual communication.

What You Should Submit:
You should submit a brief proposal that a.) communicates your value to us, with an emphasis upon examples we can look at, and b.) explains the process you would suggest to ensure that the right logo is created for our unique situation. Please be sure to describe how you will ensure that we’ll be happy with your work and eager to compensate you. Lastly, you should tell us how you would charge us and how much. This probably should go without saying, but you should also specify what format(s) you would deliver the work in. We expect the winning bidder to understand that we need the logo for multiple applications, such as on the web and on printed documents.

Some Things to Keep in Mind:
• The foundations of the brand have already been created (ex. colors), we are prepared to discuss everything in detail with the winning bidder, and we have documents drafted which describe concepts, associations, objects, imagery, etc. that we feel would be good starting points or at least very helpful.
• That said, we’re looking for someone who can take it to the next level, perhaps take a unique approach, and ultimately create a unique, memorable, compelling consumer brand logo.
• We will evaluate proposals based on VALUE. We’ll carefully review your proposal and your past work, along with the process and pricing you propose. The most important decision criterion for us will be what examples you provide for us to look at (i.e. the quality of your work). Price is important, but it will be considered within this larger context.
• We’re open to unique proposals: ex. you are beginning designer looking for the chance to showcase your work, so you’re willing to rework the design until it’s exactly what we want.
