We are looking for someone to program our text autoresponder iphone application, which we later plan on rolling out to the android and blackberry platform. In your bid, please specify whether it is for iphone, blackberry, android, or all the above. We ideally would want the first release to be for iphone, and work on the other platforms next.

I will list some basic specs for you to submit your bid and why we should work with you. If there is interest, then I will provide you individually with more details to adjust accordingly.

The basic specs are as follows:

The app, when engaged, suspends text messaging activities of the phone. When the user receives an incoming text message while driving, they are not notified. Instead, the application automatically responds to the other texter with a message letting them know that the driver is driving.

The user of the app can create customized sms responses, and assign individual responses to individuals in their phone book. They can determine what messages get sent to who. They can also create a general message that goes to contacts in their phonebook who are not assigned a specific message.

The app would use the smartphone's transponder, as well as gps to determine when the user is driving, and when it is safe to resume texting.

The design for the app will be done, so your job would be to turn the designs into a functional working application.
