The purpose of the application is to track product warrantees, to make it easier for people to maintain proof of purchase and return items that have failed under warrantee. The app will contain the functionality of an expense tracking system and an assett register, with reminders when warrantees are due to expire.

The basic process is :
Take a photo of a reciept or docket and store
Enter the transaction date (default to current date)
Enter product
Enter value (ideally, these values could be taken from the receipt and entered as defaults)
Enter supplier / location (default value taken from GPS)
Enter warrantee period (or select common warrantee types)
Take a photo of the product and store.

The app will remind when items are nearing the end of their warrantee, remind when service intervals are reached (e.g. car services every 6 months) and highlight items out of warrantee.
The app will also allow for printing / sending proof of purchase documentation.
Additional warrantee (extended warrantee or service warrantees) may also be added to existing items.

I want to be able to store and retrieve the data, send an individual file as an email, export individual files in common formats, export the database as CSV & other common formats.

The app must be written in a professional way, documented and able to be expanded with additional features.
