Description

I am looking for someone to help create a peer-peer video calling/conferencing application on the iPhone/iPad. The application will be similar to Skype and will allow two users to video call each other via the built-in cameras on the Iphone 3, Iphone 4 and iPad2. Users will initially connect to a mediation/proxy server, then to each other upon successfully initiation off a video call.

Responsibilities

Create iOS4 app to facilitate peer-to-peer video calls via 3G/Wifi
The application must support horizontal/vertical camera views across both the iPhone and iPad
Create both the iPhone/iPad component as well as the back-end server components
Document code explaining the purpose of code sections
Provide proof of progress/working demo through source code and or video of product/progress
Provide finished code in zip/rar format

Desired skills:

Written understanding of English is mandatory
Frequent communication via e-mail and or skype
Ability to program/code in xCode 4
Experience with audio/video compression, bandwidth constraints and latency


My responsibilities

Any required server infrastructure to facilitate the solution will be provided
Apple iOS Developer program for publication of completed software
