Starting with the supposition that most internet users only use 10 websites regularly, I think the dashboard of a mac is a very under-utilised browser host. A Superwidget is an internet (rss) based application where the client can use our site and interface to create a customised widget in a modular fashion according to their budget. the client, when satisfied, can then download their widget onto their own machine and email it to whomever they desire. All the recipients of the widget would then install the widget into their dashboard. The client now has a custom portal on all of these machines that changes its content and appearance as and when the client modifies it.
The client can select from many levels of security, appearance, interactivity, archiving options and user group definitions to host interactive blogs and workspaces that can be job-by-job based and archivable and accessed only by the client's invitees. In its simplest form, a widget is a business card that can be continually renewed and modified with new content (movies, pics or text) and in it's most complex, a virtual office space with shared lightboxes, drag and drop efficacy and attendance logs that can host VIOP and IM conferences and discussions live. All these actions could then be recorded and archived.
