I sysadmin for a small ecommerce company. We host all our systems and run all our own software, however we lack a dynamic reports page that will update in real time data about the various websites we host.



I have full information about our database structures and I know what fields I need collected, I've written most of the SQL myself also. This will be gathered via using a high level MSSQL user to query every database on a list of database servers, either on demand or on a schedule.



* Database name

* Database IP

* Site URL

* Payment gateway type

* Software Version number



And so on and so forth.



One simple page (prefer .net as our in-house developers are .net) that can return a datagrid of such summary information, as well as a collapeable column picker at the top to allow customising the view is what I want



A slightly more advanced version would see reports produced about revenue but that's not the core of what I'm after.



If you can think of a way of making an editable notes field that stays even if the database moves I would appreciate that too but I think that might be problematic given the database name/ip will effectively be the PK for every entry.
