Create a Qt plugin for a genealogy program. The plugin will open a database via a COM dll that will be given to you. The plugin will then read from that database the names, birth dates and places, death dates and places, for all of the people in the database. It will put that data into objects in the genealogy program. I can give you all the help you need for putting the data into the genealogy program, so that part should be simple. I cannot give you any help for connecting to the COM dll or opening and reading the database, other than to give you the dll and a sample database. Successful completion of this project may lead to a private auction for a project to continue the work of loading all the data and saving changed data back to the database. I would strongly prefer someone with experience in Qt. Experience in accessing COM from Qt is also a big plus. Experience with database programming won't hurt either.
