We are redeveloping one of our applications witch we are using in our company to do software and hardware inventory on windows systems (desktops and servers). Until now we are using some functionality of Win audit, a more advanced program with much more options. What we need is something similar but without an interface/GUI. Just the command line feature witch does an inventory silently and sends the inventory info in XML to a central place.
 
I will send you a copy of what we have now, as you will see we have progged the win audit client in a new exactable witch is being extracted en does the inventory. It works fine but we really need something for ourselves so we are able to develop it further in the future.
