We need some functions from the GSL Library ( http://www.gnu.org/software/gsl ), but we cant support their license. So, we wish you to reproduce some of their functions.
Its not a copy and paste work. The new source code have to be different then the original, so we can use it without going into copyright trouble. The coder should be familiar with the mathematics behind those functions.
We are aware about the fact, that in order to achieve the same results as the original functions, the source code will look somehow similar.
The code have to be platform independent, as we will use it on windows, Linux and Solaris, and maybe mac OS.
We would very much appreciate, if you could provide a demo application, which proves that the results of both functions (the GSL and the new ons) produce the same results.
The programming language in question is C++.
