We have an application written in VB6 which uses either an MS Access or an MS SQLServer database.



Part of the application involves time recording.



The table structure is simple, there being tables for clients, jobs, timesheet headers, timelines, disbursements and users.



We need some reports written in Crystal reports that we can call from within our VB6 application and that can be run without the need for anything other than free runtime software to be present on the PC.

 

Each report should allow the entry of selection, sorting and grouping criteria. For example the Time line report might be by user for unbilled time only, or by date for written off time only.



The reports will be of two types.........



Simple reports that predominantly contain data from one table; and Complex reports which may be driven by, or contain data from several tables. 



An example of a Complex report would be a Billing guide where the top section may contain client information, the middle a list of Unbilled time and the bottom a list of Unbilled disbursements.



This bid is to produce one Simple report and one Complex one.



If this is successful it is likely that more reports will be needed later.
