the object of the project is to load openNMS on a 4-node linux cluster.


we need to have an optimized postgresql backend for openNMS.


It is unknown as of this point if we have shared storage (san/iscsi).


redhat 5.x will be used. our choice of clustering solution between RHCS, heartbeat, or vcs.


however we choose to use/configure the 4 node cluster.

I will implement the project, basically what i'll need from the programmer/administrator is a step by step guide, and remote support during install process.

2-node linux HA cluster (heartbeat) will run openNMS application.


2-node linux HA/load-balanced cluster will run replicated postgresql setup.
