Project Overview/Objectives

1) Content Management System – able to manage website content pages, microsites, main sections and subsections (i.e. Page Banner Rotators, News, Promotions, Products, Contact Forms)

2) Product Management and Ecommerce integration – ability to manage products with ecommerce and shopping cart functionalities. Products should be presented like Louis Vuitton’s Product Catalog (http://www.louisvuitton.com) not necessarily in flash, you may use AJAX. Layout will be provided. Standard Ecommerce features and functionalities must be included but not limited to product management, shopping cart, user accounts, transaction management, payment gateway and the like.

3) Microsites - ability to create a one page micro website for each Brand. You will be linking this on the product Catalog Brand Page.


Reminders

1) Main Sections – Currently there are 6 Main Sections namely Home, About Us, Products, In the News, Promotions and Contact Us. Layouts for each section will be provided.

2) For the Products Catalog, there should be the ability to link the Microsite for each Brand. Currently, there are four levels for Products: Main Category > Sub Category > Brand > Products. Remember that Product Catalog, Product Page, Shopping Cart Layouts will be provided.

3) We will be needing a News Article Module for In The News.

4) Strictly follow the template design and css provided. However it is your discretion to build the Products Catalog. It should be working like Louis Vuitton’s Product Catalog (http://www.louisvuitton.com) but not in flash, you may use AJAX.
