We are looking for a firm to design and program a price comparison and review aggregator website. This website will however only focus on perfumes. The price comparison feature will be populated by product feeds. The review aggregator implies that you have to create crawlers for 5 different websites where all user reviews of perfumes will be scraped; these crawlers must be able to run on a regular basis to look for new reviews. Additionally, the product database for the website will include creating crawlers for 2 different websites to scrape specific detailed information about the products themselves.

In addition the website will also feature a perfume recommendation system using collaborative filtering. The collaborative filtering engine to be used can be found on vogoo-api.com , as the actual system is completed you only have to take care of bridging the Vogoo script with your final product. In essence the recommendations will be based on the aggregated product reviews. If a visitors mentions that they like X, Y and Z perfume the collaborative filtering system will compare the visitors taste to all the users in the database and provide recommendations based on the closest match and other filtering options. The website will thus also feature a member option where visitors can become members and thus their ratings of perfumes can be saved for future recommendations.
