What I require:
I need a web application designed to clone the functionality of SupportDetails.com as well as added functionality via a Java Applet.  The Applet needs to run invisible (1x1) and be called via Javascript functions to perform system calls. These calls need to perform pings, traceroutes, and NSlookups using the appropriate system call for the users OS (must be cross platform for at least Windows and OS X). The parameters for those system calls will be passed in via the javascript call.  The processing should all be done asynchronously, as in supportdetails.com.

When all the details are gathered (successfully or not) there should be a button that becomes active allowing them to send the details to "support". I will define the email these should go to on my own.

Specific Experience:
You should have experience with Java Applets and Ajax type asynchronous HTML. Your coding needs to be clean, professional, maintainable, and well commented as this web app is being used in a production system.

Timeframe:
I need this up and running within 2 weeks.
