I need help with the installation and initial configuration of an instance of the Liferay portal on our server. 

I can provide FTP and shell access to the server directory where Liferay is to be installed. Configuration of the JVM and Apache though may be problematic.

Please note, I am not looking for a webdeveloper to build a website on Liferay. The project will be considered done when we have Liferar running with the sample data it comes with.
