Looking to find out what would be involved in creating an ASP .NET Business Intelligence solution. Basically it would allow users to connect to a SQL database and build their own charts,reports, and gauges. Furthermore it would allow Administrators to give certain users or groups access to the reports.

What I am looking for is very close to this:

This is an ad hoc report system which means you create them on the fly. The catch is I want it to be all browser based.

I am not opposed to modifying existing solutions if they are good enough and I only have to pay for it one time and can use it in my own products/own sales.
