The goal of this project is to create an applet in flash using ActionScript 3.0 and Flash CS3 or CS4 that allows a user to take notes.

The interface will be a 2 column interface allowing a scrollable list of notes to be added very similar to the way the iPhone note app works with the Microsoft Journal type entry.

The user will add notes which are then stored locally and later recalled.    The interface will have an Add Note button and an Edit button.   

The Edit button will turn the interface into an iPhone style list with Delete buttons on the right of each note.

Clicking a note will open it to the full width of the applet with a close button.

The text entry area will allow the user to click anyplace and start typing.  When the user clicks, locate the nearest point on a grid just allowing the user to click but the text will lineup if they simply click close along the x or y axis.

The user will simply click and type.   Click again, type again.

If the user clicks and drags consider it a line and draw with the pen a smooth line.
