I am looking for someone how can help me with a travel guide iPhone app. I have a database with roughly 160 mini travel guides (about one page with text divided into 10 chapters) that I am converting into iPhone applications.

The application will support in app purchases and that is how the user will get requested info. The application will be distributed with X travel guides preloaded. The user will be able to update her travel guide library by purchasing new travel guides from within the application. Some mini guides will also be made available directly from App Store as separate applications (about 10-15).

The application will be able to perform 2 tasks:

* Browse travel guides (purchased and preloaded)
* Sell travel guides
* Browse by list
* Country
* Destination
* Browse by map
* Search filed

When a user has downloaded the application she can either purchase new travel guides or she can use the preinstalled travel guide. It does not matter; all travel guides will have the same features.
All travel guides will consist of X amount of chapters. Content is dependent on information/data supplied by the travel guide database.

Since these travel guides are to be used when traveling all internet connection (not Wi-Fi connection) MUST be approved by the user (not just once but every time the application need to connect to the internet).

All users must know that they can use these travel guides without risking any rooming fees.

The currency calculator:
This is how it works: The user types a number in the "amount" field. As soon as the user clicks on ok on the keyboard the calculations are made and the exchange rates are shown. The Calculate button may not be needed if possible to do as describe above otherwise calculation will happen after user clicks on the calculate button. All rates will be supplied by XML by a bank source.

Calc 1= amount from user X currency rate (196 X 10,5385 = 2065,55)
Calc 2= amount from user divided with currency rate (196 / 10,5385 = 18,60)

Off Line Maps
All maps will work off line. All coordinates from the guides will be shown with a dot or pin. The user can search for all points of interest by using the search filed.
If a user clicks on the “I” (information) symbol located at the bottom left corner of the map she will be able to change some settings (what settings is depended on the map source. I don’t have any specific preferences). Example of settings could be Map units (Km, miles), Scale (off/on). Points of interest (Railway stations, airports, parking, fuel, taxi, bus stop, restaurants, hotel, hostel etc)
If necessary give credit to the map source according to the user agreement.

The refresh button will refresh the users’ position on the map.
If the map source allow directions from “my position” to a point of interest, then that feature should be activated and included in the GUI.
There are no maps in the database. I will not supply the maps, possible sources for maps are Google OpenStreetMap...

Post status updates to Facebook
There will be a link from the app to the users facebook account so that users can update their facebook status with predefined messages such as “ I have just arrived in [destination] and everything is great! Posted with ………. Travel guide iPhone app

All graphic design as well as a detailed specification will be supplied by me before project start.

Final delivery will include :
 Source code
 All travel guides in separate binary’s
 The in app purchase application binary including all in app purchases settings in iTunes connect
 Submitting all apps to iTunes connect
 Approval on all apps/travel guides from iTunes approval team.
