This abandoned plug-in works on my Joomla 1.0.x 15000 members production site (sources available). The goal is to make it work with a migration of this website under Joomla 1.5.x, community builder 1.2.x. Members can determine direct urls to their profiles (www.website.com/choosenword). They can edit/change it when they wish but always without .html at the end of the direct url.
