I have a PostgreSQL 7.4 Database with about 30000 products with Manufacturer-ID, Manufacturer-Name, Item-ID, Description, Price, Rebate(%), and some more.
Every month i get a new pricelist as a csv-file but there are some informations in it that arent correct for me. So i cannot just import and overwrite the whole thing.
What i need is a perl based website where i can choose in detail, what information i want to import and what has to be excluded.
Case 1)
Import the whole csv EXCEPT Manufacturer-ID 1,2,3,...
Case 2)
Import ONLY Manufacturer-ID 1,2,3,...
(there must be a list and this lists should be loadable and storable, for example in a seperate table in the database)
Furthermore i have to be able to choose either to import a) ONLY the Rebate or b) ONLY the Price or c) Rebate AND Price.
If there is a new article in the csv which does not already exist in the database then all csv fields need to be imported (obviously).
After the import is complete a list (textfile) should be reported with the newly added products (only Item-ID) and a status info about how many prices has been updated.
After all this page should be integrated in an existing Perl-web-application but this is optional and will be a seperate bonus.
